My name is Traci Hart and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I am trained and experienced in providing individual counseling and group counseling to children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. Here is a chronological glimpse into my professional experience:

  • 1992- 1994 – Volunteered as a teacher of psychological/social classes at the Waco Center for Youth in Waco, Texas
  • 1993 – Received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Baylor                              University in Waco, Texas
  • 1995-1997 – Managed a social rehabilitation clinic at the Burke Center in Nacogdoches, Texas
  • 1997 – Completed my Counseling Practicum at Buckner Outpatient Services in Longview, Texas
  • 1997 – Received a Master of Arts Degree in Community Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas (This is a program approved by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs – CACREP)
  • 1997- 1999 – Completed my Counseling Internship at Buckner Children and Family Services in Dallas, Texas
  • 2000 – Acquired my License of Professional Counseling in Texas
